Job Description:

  • Assist the estimating team with take-offs, identifying and counting electrical components based on project plans.
  • Utilise estimation software to input and verify project data.
  • Ensure accuracy in quantity calculations and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Estimators to streamline processes.
  • Maintain records and assist in report generation as needed.
  • Reach out to suppliers and sub-contractors to obtain pricing via email.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or any related field.
  • Familiarity with take-offs and basic project estimation concepts.
  • Prior experience in administrative support within an estimating or construction team is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Simpro is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
