Job Summary
The Talent Welfare and Relations Officer/Supervisor plays a strategic and supervisory role in promoting employee well-being, engagement, and compliance within the organization. This position oversees the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of welfare and benefits programs, employee services, records management, and engagement initiatives.
The role also serves as a key partner in resolving employee concerns, ensuring policy compliance, and cultivating a positive and inclusive work culture aligned with the company's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
I. Benefits Administration
- Lead the implementation and monitoring of statutory and company-initiated benefit programs, ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of timekeeping records, pre-payroll documents, and employee benefits (e.g., HMO, life insurance, uniforms, Perfect Employee Rewards system).
- Coordinate with insurance and healthcare providers (e.g., Medicard, Sunlife) to resolve escalated issues and maintain service quality.
- Oversee the annual physical examination program, ensuring completion and proper documentation for all employees.
- Review and update benefit-related communications, guidelines, and procedures to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Maintain and strengthen partnerships with external agencies (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR) for statutory registrations and compliance.
- Safeguard the accuracy and integrity of employee benefit data within the HRIS and related systems.
- Conduct periodic audits of benefit utilization and enrollment records to ensure policy adherence and data accuracy.
II. Employee Services and Records Management
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of all employee records and HRIS data.
- Review and approve employee document requests (e.g., employment certificates, IDs, proximity cards).
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and company security protocols.
- Continuously improve documentation workflows and service request processes to enhance responsiveness and efficiency.
III. Employee Relations and Engagement
- Oversee offboarding processes, including clearance management, final pay coordination, and compliance with exit documentation.
- Address employee welfare-related inquiries and facilitate resolutions in collaboration with relevant departments or external partners.
- Support the design and implementation of employee engagement initiatives, gathering feedback to guide continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching and guidance to Talent Welfare Associates, ensuring service excellence and adherence to HR standards.
IV. Projects, Reporting, and Collaboration
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to welfare, records, and benefits management.
- Lead or support wellness campaigns, outreach activities, and HR technology rollouts.
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, and other departments to ensure seamless cross-functional workflows.
- Prepare and submit reports, analyses, and recommendations for management decision-making and policy development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in HR, preferably covering timekeeping, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, or records management.
- Strong understanding of Philippine Labor Laws and government-mandated benefits.
- Experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff is preferred.
- Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Upholds confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards in all HR activities.
- Proficient in HRIS and MS Office applications; familiarity with HR analytics is an advantage.
- Willingness to work fully onsite in Quezon City
