About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly-skilled Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. As our Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the procurement of materials, goods, and services to support our manufacturing operations. What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of materials, goods, and services at optimum cost and quality
  • Manage the procurement team, providing leadership, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Negotiate with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to secure the best possible terms and conditions
  • Monitor and analyse procurement performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with the overall business objectives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners
  • Provide detailed reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in a procurement or supply chain management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in contract management, supplier relationship management, and inventory control
  • Knowledge of the latest procurement trends, best practices, and industry regulations
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • With valid driver's license
