The Internal Audit Officer is responsible for evaluating, monitoring, and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes across the Group. The role ensures that strong internal controls are in place, risks are properly managed, and operations are aligned with company objectives. This position also provides value-adding insights and recommendations that support continuous improvement and the achievement of the Corporate Strategic Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of internal control systems and business processes to ensure compliance, efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Conduct operational, financial, and process audits across various business units and support functions.
  • Identify control gaps, assess risks, and recommend practical process improvements and mitigation measures.
  • Prepare clear and concise audit reports that highlight key findings and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with process owners and management teams to support the implementation of audit recommendations and ensure sustainable improvements.
  • Participate in the development and enhancement of audit methodologies, tools, and risk assessment frameworks.
  • Provide insights and value-adding analysis aligned with the Corporate Strategic Plan and organizational goals.
  • Support data analytics initiatives to improve audit effectiveness and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Information Systems, Management/Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification is highly preferred.
  • At least four (4) years of relevant experience in Business Process Review, Internal Controls, Internal Audit, or Risk Management or a combination of these areas.
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems, Process Audits, Strategic Management or Data Analytics.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work independently or collaboratively within a dynamic environment.
