Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accounting / Bookkeeper Intern to join our finance team. The intern will assist with various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, learning the practical application of accounting principles and gaining hands-on experience in a professional setting. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to develop their skills in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and data entry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations.

Help with the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Enter and maintain accurate records of financial transactions in accounting software.

Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports.

Monitor cash flow and prepare deposits.

Assist in auditing and verifying expense reports and invoices for accuracy.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Assist with tax filing preparations, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Maintain organized physical and digital financial records.

Participate in special projects or ad hoc tasks assigned by the accounting team.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new accounting processes.
