Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
  • With a minimum of 1 year related experience
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Strong analytical, composition, and prioritizing skills
  • Detail-oriented and with good organization and coordination skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Good written and oral communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducts timely pre- and post- audit of disbursement vouchers for death claims, refund of equity (deceased), disability, general fund, DFIC, E-56 termination, and offsetting of loan balances
  • Reviews voucher attachments and documents; checks accuracy of member benefits computation
  • Prepares reports and coordinates with concerned departments regarding audit findings
  • Conducts annual process review of transactions related to financial audit and prepares recommendations on process improvement
  • Assists during walk-throughs and field audits, as necessary
  • Provides assistance in the conduct of inspection for procured items amounting to P200,000.00 and below (as part of IAT), as necessary
  • Performs tasks as provided for in the updated and approved PSMBFI Operations Manual
  • Performs other related functions as directed by superiors
