Job Purpose :

This job is responsible for the preparation and processing of requisition and purchase orders for supplies and equipment in the different departments and clinics by following policies and procedures and in accordance with specifications.

Duties and Resposibilities:

1. Purchase of supplies and equipment

  • Verifies if request is within approved Budget.
  • Processes Purchase Requests from departments and clinics by canvassing, negotiating with suppliers for best price and terms to submit canvass sheet to Materials Management Supervisor and prepares Purchase Order.

2. Delivery of items

  • Receives and inspects all items delivered and checks the sales invoices against the Pos by checking the actual count, expiration dates, specifications and conditions of items.

3*. Distribution of supplies and equipment*

  • Facilitates distribution to the different departments and clinics the supplies and equipment requested by preparing the transmittal form within the TAT of the day.

4. Clinic Management

  • Verifies if request is within approved Budget.
  • Processes Purchase Requests for medicines, medical supplies & medical equipment requested by client.
  • Coordinates orders to contracted supplier/s by issuance of Purchase Order/s
  • Ensures timely delivery to client's clinic sites.
  • Monitors completion of delivery with report preparation for bill back purposes

5*. Payment processing for suppliers *

  • Processes payments to suppliers (PO & Non-PO based)

6*. Reports*

  • Prepares the following reports:
  • Purchase order monitoring report (daily)
  • Purchase Requisition Report (monthly)
  • Distribution list report (monthly)
  • Receiving copy report (monthly)
  • Supplier Evaluation Report (Annual)

7. Others

  • Attends Purchasing council meetings
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree graduate in Management or related field
  • At least two years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications and using SAP

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

  • Makati: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
