Job Summary

The positionis responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of technology services by providing system support, security, and maintenance across various platforms, including ERP and HRIS. This position plays a key role in managing the company's information systems, networks, and databases while assisting employees with hardware, software, and network-related concerns. The role also focuses on system optimization, troubleshooting, and development to enhance business operations and data-driven decision-making.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

System and Network Administration

  • Ensures the overall security of systems, networks, and servers against virus threats, cyber-attacks, and unauthorized access (internal and external).
  • Administers and maintains ERP and HRIS, including user account management, system updates, and enhancements.
  • Monitors system performance, resolves technical issues, and ensures the smooth operation of all IT infrastructure.
  • Establishes and maintains virtualization environments and system backup processes.

Software and Application Support

  • Provides system support for company-wide applications, including accounting, payroll, ERP, and HRIS.
  • Develops, maintains, and improves all web-based applications, company websites, system reports, and data repositories.
  • Assists employees with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to software, network connectivity, and computer hardware.
  • Develops and evaluates system software to simplify and automate business processes.

Data Management and Security

  • Implements and maintains data backup, disaster recovery, and restoration services.
  • Ensures data integrity, security, and confidentiality across all platforms.
  • Facilitates the generation of system reports, dashboards, and analytics for operational decision-making.

User Training and Technical Assistance

  • Conducts user training, orientations, and the creation of manuals for ERP, HRIS, and other critical software.
  • Provides ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to employees regarding MIS-related concerns.
  • Attends to inquiries, suggestions, and complaints related to Management Information Systems.

Other IT-Related Functions

  • Oversees the design and production of company barcodes, employee IDs, and digital assets.
  • Performs web design, development, and administration of company websites and portals.
  • Creates and maintains graphic design layouts for company forms and documents.
  • Documents all MIS-related activities and ensures strict compliance with IT policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures all company-wide computers and devices have updated antivirus and security software.
  • Conducts periodic preventive maintenance of all computer systems.
  • Supports and maintains the company's accounting and finance-related systems.
  • Provides system support and training for end-users on ERP and HRIS functionalities.
  • Ensures proper safekeeping and confidentiality of company data and records.

Job Specifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any related field.
  • At least 2-3 year of experience in MIS, ERP/HRIS administration, or IT support in a corporate setting.
  • Experience with ERP, HRIS, and database management systems is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of ERP and HRIS administration, user management, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in database management (MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Experience with software development, system analysis, and process automation.
  • Knowledge of computer networks, cybersecurity measures, and server management.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repair procedures for hardware and software.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions, backup procedures, and virtualization technologies.
