Technical Support Associate

As Technical Support Associate, you will be responsible for providing hands-on service, maintenance, and technical support for Aeromark's scent-diffuser machines and related equipment. This includes installation, regular refills (e.g., fragrance oils), diagnosing faults, repairing or replacing faulty components, and supporting clients to ensure optimal machine performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and/or in-house maintenance and servicing of Aeromark machines (installation, setup, replacement of parts, refills of fragrances/oils, cleaning and calibration).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or software issues affecting machine performance; determine root cause and apply corrective actions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns — e.g. checking atomizers, tanks, hoses, electronic controls, sensors, and timers.
• Manage inventory of spare parts, fragrance/oil supplies, and maintenance materials; ensure timely ordering and restocking to support service needs.
• Handle customer service requests related to machine malfunction, poor performance, or refill requests; respond promptly and professionally.
• Document service calls, maintenance activities, parts used, issues identified and resolved, and follow-up actions in a maintenance log or ticketing system.
• Escalate complex or unresolvable issues to senior technicians or management, and coordinate with relevant teams for further technical intervention.
• Provide guidance and basic training to clients and/or internal staff on proper use, maintenance, refill procedures and troubleshooting best practices.
• Support occasional installation or relocation of machines at client sites (e.g. new store setups, showroom installations).
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness when handling equipment, liquids (fragrances/oils), and while performing maintenance work.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational course or associate's degree in engineering, electronics, mechanical technology or similar is a plus.
• Prior experience in equipment maintenance, servicing, or technical support — ideally with mechanical or electromechanical devices (e.g. appliances, dispensers, HVAC, fragrance/air-scenting machines).
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems: ability to read wiring diagrams, follow schematics, work with pumps, sensors, valves, pumps/atomizers, timers, electronic controls, etc.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; ability to isolate faults, test components, and determine appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Basic inventory management skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-oriented mindset: good communication skills (both written and verbal), patience, professionalism, ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical clients.
• Ability to work independently in the field or in a workshop; comfortable with hands-on maintenance work.
• Willingness to travel to client sites, if needed (installations, servicing), and to work flexible hours depending on service demands.
