Job Summary:

The Corporate Accountant is responsible for managing and analyzing financial information for the company. This role involves preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, supporting audits, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with corporate financial systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, financial statements, and account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including all BIR compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS (if applicable), and internal accounting policies.
  • Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors during audits.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports.
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support tax filings and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives within the finance function.
  • Maintain documentation for internal controls and financial procedures.

Requirements:

  • Certified Public Accountant.
  • With accreditation to sign SEC documents and other financial documents.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
