Job Summary

The Assistant General Accountant handles billing and collection, aging of receivables, perform bank reconciliation, and preparation and filling of Company (consolidated) tax returns.

DOES (Responsibilities)

I.

Duties│Function:

  • Account Receivable Management

o Timely preparation and issuance of Service Billing Invoice and Statement of Accounts;

o Regular update of receivable schedule;

o Monitor movements of receivables and constantly follow up of collections;

o Prepare monthly aging and collection status update reports;

o Monthly reconciliation of intercompany transactions;

o Coordinates with procurement department in preparation of service billings for administrative fees;

o Coordination with Treasury Department on the timely issuance of official receipts;

o Ensure full accounting of official receipts issued and proper recording thereof;

o Regular filling of copy of billing statements, statement of account, official receipts and related documents.

  • Tax Accounting and Compliance

o Preparation of consolidated tax returns such as withholding tax compensation, expanded withholding tax, fringe benefit tax (FBT), documentary stamp tax (DST), quarterly and annual income tax return, summary list of sales and purchases (SLSP), and monthly alphalist of payees (MAP);

o Coordinates with car Division on the preparation, reconciliation, and consolidation of the aforementioned tax returns and reports;

o Ensure collection of tax certificates and monitor utilization of the same;

o Coordinate with the General Accountant on the utilization of tax certificates for proper recording;

o Ascertain completeness of consolidated certificate of creditable withholding taxes (CWTs) collected prior to submission to BIR;

o Monitor application of inter-division tax certificates;

o Ensure correctness of revenue and expense reported to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) as well as tax rates applied;

o Files and secures all tax related documents, such as but not limited to accomplished applications, tax returns, and receipts.

  • Oracle Implementation

o Ensure regular update and completeness of client/customer database

o Management handling of inter-company transactions to ensure its proper take-up in Oracle GL

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
