Full-Stack Developer (iGaming / Compliance Platform)

Mission

Build and maintain the core deterministic odds, event, and settlement system that powers AkalaKo88's prediction-market operations.

You will translate a rule-based manual process into a lightweight, auditable software backbone—simple enough for iTech certification, strong enough for operator partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Core System Build

  • Implement PostgreSQL schema for events, odds_versions, bets, settlements, audit_log (append-only).
  • Develop deterministic odds calculator (reference probability + manual modifiers).
  • Build admin console for event creators, analysts, and settlement staff (React / / Vue acceptable).

2. Compliance & Audit Features

  • Create immutable logging layer (timestamps, SHA-256 hashes).
  • Build export scripts for weekly CSV/JSON bundles (events, odds, settlements, audit).
  • Ensure RBAC permissions and MFA for admin roles.
  • Enforce version-locking of odds and settlement data.

3. Front-End (User-Facing)

  • Lightweight web interface for browsing events and placing bets (HTML5/React).
  • Integrate payment/wallet API stubs (mock first, real later).
  • Display fee disclosure ("10 % commission on winnings") clearly.

4. Maintenance & DevOps

  • Manage deployment on a single VPS or AWS Lightsail instance.
  • Automate daily database backups and S3/WORM archival.
  • Monitor uptime, logs, and simple alerting (e.g., Cron + Discord/Slack bot).

5. Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work directly with the part-time CTO for code review and sprint planning.
  • Maintain technical documentation for iTech audit (architecture diagram, schema definitions, process flow).
  • Coordinate with compliance staff for weekly data-export verification.

Tech Stack (minimal viable)

  • Backend: (Express) or Python (FastAPI)
  • Database: PostgreSQL
  • Frontend: React or (Typescript optional)
  • Infra: AWS Lightsail / DigitalOcean / Render
  • Storage: S3 or Backblaze B2 (for audit evidence & exports)
  • Auth: JWT + Role-Based Access Control
  • Versioning: GitHub + Actions for CI/CD
  • Time Sync: NTP + UTC logging
  • Backup: daily pg_dump + S3 snapshot

Profile Requirements

  • 3–5 years full-stack experience, ideally in fintech, gaming, or compliance SaaS.
  • Strong in relational DB design and deterministic systems.
  • Understands audit trails, immutability, and data-integrity design.
  • Able to work autonomously, iterate fast, and write clean documentation.
  • Familiar with Philippine or SEA regulatory context a plus.
