Role Overview:

As a key member of the Equities Operations team based in the Philippines, you will undertake a leadership role focused on Commission Sharing (CSA) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations. These operations support the commission sharing business within the company's Capital trading, where clients utilize the company's access to global markets for equities execution and share commission brokerage with research providers.

This role demands active engagement with traders, desk heads, business managers, external clients, vendors, and multiple stakeholders within the Corporate Operations Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily CSA & AR operations in the Philippines.
  • Manage Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet set targets.
  • Handle internal and external stakeholder management, serving as a senior point of escalation.
  • Drive process transformation to bolster controls, enhance efficiencies, and improve client experiences.
  • Support team development, recruitment, and organizational efforts in collaboration with the global management team.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A deep understanding of post-trade equities operations, whether in a middle office or settlements capacity. Good accounting background is acceptable
  • Comprehensive knowledge of control and risk frameworks within banking/financial service operations.
  • The ability to lead (5 yrs minimum of strong leadership exp) and support team growth as a strong team player. This person will manage 6 direct reports who are Senior Level SMEs within the group
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills.
