We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with a range of general accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting support. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who wants to build strong foundational experience in general accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily accounting tasks such as data entry, transaction recording, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
  • Support monthly and year-end financial close processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1- 2 years of experience in general accounting or related role (internships included).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php25,000.00 per month
