Senior Interior Designer (Remote — Philippines)

About Tarraula

Tarraula is a Spain-based interior design and full-home furnishing studio operating internationally. We design, specify, and document complete residential projects, then hand off to our Operations team for budgeting, procurement, and installation.

Role Summary

Own the entire design process from initial brief through final documentation:

  • Conduct/coordinate the initial assessment and measurements (using client plans, photos, or guided video calls when needed).
  • Develop concept, moodboards, space planning, and layouts.
  • Produce technical drawings (plans, elevations), FF&E/materials selections, and photorealistic renders.
  • Deliver a complete Design Documentation Package ready for execution.
  • Handover to Operations for costing and installation coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate client goals into clear design criteria and constraints.
  • Create and iterate floor plans, joinery details, lighting plans, and material schedules.
  • Generate high-quality renders consistent with brand standards.
  • Maintain version control, change logs, and naming standards.
  • Hit milestone deadlines with rigorous time management.
  • Collaborate asynchronously; keep stakeholders updated with concise reports.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years in residential interior design (portfolio required).
  • Mastery of AutoCAD (or Revit), SketchUp, and a real-time/render engine (D5, Enscape, V-Ray or Corona).
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC (Photoshop/Illustrator/Acrobat) and Google Workspace.
  • Strong technical documentation skills (plans, elevations, shop-ready details).
  • Solid understanding of FF&E sourcing and materials for modern, neutral, functional design.
  • English B2+ for daily communication.
  • Ability to work remotely with 4+ hours overlap with Europe/LatAm time zones.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with rental/Airbnb or developer-grade packages.
  • Knowledge of European/LatAm standards and metric documentation.
  • Spanish reading ability is a plus (not required).
