Primary Job Function

The core function is to make interior spaces functional, safe, and beautiful by:

  • Determining space requirements.
  • Selecting decorative items (colors, lighting, materials).
  • Ensuring designs comply with building codes and inspection regulations.
  • Providing drawings and assisting the team lead in all interior design aspects of a project.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Design Development and Presentation

  • Sourcing & Selection: Perform FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) sourcing, selection, and specification.
  • Conceptualization: Create 'mode boards' (mood boards), design concepts, space planning/function, and presentation materials.
  • Drawing & Documentation: Prepare drawings for all project stages (Pre-concept through Construction/Tender drawings).
  • Visual Production: Produce design presentations (Keynote/PowerPoint), 2D, 3D, and working drawings.

2. Technical & Project Data

  • Technical Solutions: Develop technical solutions to ensure the design is feasible.
  • Software Skills: Manipulate images (Photoshop), floor plans, dimensions, create schedules, and tag finishes.
  • Industry Awareness: Follow world trends and new technology in the design industry.

3. Collaboration, Communication, and Management

  • Coordination: Coordinate with the Team Lead on material and FFE selections.
  • Liaison: Work with the rendering team for presentation materials.
  • Management: Delegates tasks to a CAD Designer and BIM Architect.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve minor design issues.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: BS Interior Design or Architecture Graduate.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of work experience as an Interior Designer or equivalent.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Php15, Php40,000.00 per month
