About the role
As the Logistic and Purchasing Supervisor at Aga Mos Eco Development Corp', you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth procurement and delivery of materials and supplies on site. This full-time position is based in the beautiful town of El Nido, Palawan, offering the opportunity to work in a stunning location.
You'll be doing the following but not limited to the list below:
- Oversee and manage the entire purchasing and logistics function for the company (e.g. scheduling, ordering, canvassing, delivery etc.)
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible prices, terms and conditions
- Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet production and operational requirements
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing and logistics activities with overall business objectives
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Prepare and analyse procurement-related reports and metrics
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable regulations
What we're looking for
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar purchasing, logistics or supply chain management role
- Strong negotiation and communication management skills
- Proficient in inventory control and forecasting techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field
