Driver/Purchaser

Your Mission: The Heart of Our Logistics

As our Driver/Purchaser, you will ensure our operations run seamlessly by managing both transportation and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics and Driving:

• Provide safe and timely transportation for staff, supplies, and equipment using company vehicles (van, motorcycle, etc.).
• Maintain the cleanliness and good operating condition of all assigned company vehicles.
• Manage and secure all necessary vehicle documents and maintenance schedules.

Purchasing and Procurement:

• Execute all assigned purchasing tasks, including canvassing suppliers for the best quality and prices.
• Procure various goods, including operational supplies, equipment, and fresh provisions for our island basecamps.
• Prepare and process purchase requests, cash advances, and liquidate expenses accurately and on time.
• Coordinate closely with the Operations Team and Chefs regarding necessary supplies and delivery schedules.

Support and Administration:

• Assist with other general administrative and operational tasks as needed to support the expedition team.

What You Bring to the Island

• Essential: Must possess a valid Professional Driver's License (Restrictions 1, 2, and 3 preferred).
• Experience: Proven professional driving experience and a strong knowledge of local areas, especially in Coron, Palawan. Experience in logistics or procurement is a significant advantage.
• Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Must be highly organized, honest, and detail-oriented in handling purchases and cash.
• Attitude: Proactive, trustworthy, adaptable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Education: At least a High School Graduate or a 2-year vocational course.
