Production Supervisor

About the role

This is a full-time Production Supervisor role within the manufacturing division of Edisons Group of Companies Inc. based in El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental. As Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production department, ensuring efficient and effective manufacturing processes to support the overall business objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to meet established production goals and targets
• Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality of output
• Oversee inventory management, including monitoring material supplies and managing inventory levels
• Liaise with other departments, such as purchasing and engineering, to address production-related issues
• Provide training and development support to production team members to upskill and motivate the workforce
• Analyse production data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for optimisation
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations within the production facility

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production supervisory role within the manufacturing industry especially of Woven Sacks products
• Strong understanding of production processes, manufacturing equipment, and quality control systems
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production-related challenges
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting to drive continuous improvement
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies
• Relevant educational qualifications in engineering, operations management, or a related field
