Maintenance Supervisor

MARINA DEL SOL RESORT AND YACHT CLUB (MDS) is a member of Rayomar Management Inc.'s group of companies. Rayomar, one of the country's progressive investment and management entity since 1980 , has operation and ownership of several companies involved in shipping, crewing, logistics, freight forwarding and international trading.

MDS was established in 2019 to develop real properties for the promotion and development of aqua-marine sports and services, under water diving and services, pleasure, recreation and other social, cultural and educational activities and in relation therewith to establish, operate and/or manage hotels, yacht club facilities, inns and/or lodging houses.

JOB SUMMARY:

1. Responsible for the overall maintenance of the property which includes but is not

limited to—plumbing, electrical, carpentry, construction, waste management,

landscaping, etc.

1. Supervises boat operation and maintenance in the absence of a Marina Manager/Supervisor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Takes the lead in the activities of the maintenance department

2. Train, supervise, and support maintenance staff

3. Conduct inspections of the property structures and equipment and implements necessary maintenance procedures

4. Conduct plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or landscaping repairs as needed

5. Requests maintenance parts, supplies, or specialized services as needed

6. Maintain an updated inventory of assets and supplies and reports discrepancies or

deficiencies to the General Manager

1. Maintain an updated logbook of the department's activities and relevant assignments (fuel stock and consumption, generator use, desalination plant production, etc.)

2. Monitor construction and/or renovation projects, and supervise when assigned

3. Report departmental issues and concerns to the General Manager

4. Perform other duties that may be assigned by the General Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: High school graduate, with relevant trainings in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, construction, landscaping, etc.
• Work Experience/s: At least three (3) years experience in a similar or related position
• Special Qualities and Skills Requirements:
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Excellent technical knowledge
• Ability to foster respect and discipline within the team
