Career Coach

Career Coach will engage with incoming college students, offering guidance and support as they navigate their journey toward college. This role involves having informative and friendly conversations, answering students' questions, and providing resources to help them explore their options.

The coach will play a key role in ensuring a positive and supportive experience, subtly guiding students through the enrollment process without making it feel like a sales interaction. The focus is on helping students build confidence, feel a sense of belonging, and develop the persistence needed to make informed decisions about their future.

Career Coach

  • Conduct outbound calls to students and parents providing guidance on college options.
  • Engage in meaningful, supportive conversations to help students explore their future academic paths.
  • Subtly guide students through the enrollment process without making it feel like a sales pitch.
  • Answer students' questions and provide resources for their college journey.
  • Record and maintain accurate information about each student interaction in the system.
  • Follow up with students as needed, ensuring they feel supported throughout the process.
  • Maintain professionalism and empathy in all student communications.
  • Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate student schedules.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless hand-offs and consistent communication with students.
  • Ensure students feel confident, a sense of belonging, and motivated to persist in their decision-making process.
  • Keep detailed logs of calls and student progress for future reference.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on admissions policies and student engagement strategies.
