Social Media & Marketing Specialist – Multi-Business Growth | Remote | Immediate Start

Role Name: Social Media & Marketing Specialist

Schedule: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm 

Client Timezone: Eastern Time (Canada)

Client Overview: Support the digital marketing efforts for two growing businesses: an established professional accounting firm and an emerging business coaching practice. This unique opportunity allows you to develop marketing strategies across different industries while working with a business owner who values measurable results and creative freedom.

Job Description: You'll own the social media presence for two distinct but complementary businesses, creating engaging content that builds brand awareness and drives client engagement. This role offers creative freedom within a results-driven framework, perfect for someone who wants to make a measurable impact on business growth while working with a supportive business owner who understands the value of professional marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling, on-brand content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other business platforms
  • Develop and execute tailored social media strategies for accounting and coaching businesses
  • Manage content approval process and maintain consistent posting schedules
  • Engage authentically with followers and respond to comments and messages
  • Monitor social media performance metrics and adjust strategies for optimal results
  • Collaborate on content themes and messaging that align with business goals
  • Build brand awareness and market presence for the emerging coaching business
  • Research industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into content strategy
  • Maintain organized content calendars and ensure consistent brand voice across platforms

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social media management with demonstrable results
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, and other professional business platforms
  • Ability to create visually appealing and engaging content that drives engagement
  • Experience with social media analytics and performance tracking tools
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to brand voice consistency
  • Ability to work reliably during Eastern Time Zone business hours for collaboration
  • Results-oriented mindset with ability to demonstrate ROI and growth metrics
