Junior IT Support Engineer

  • Job duties include, but not limited to:
  • First level remote support on Airport System (CUPPS: Common Use Passenger Processing System)
  • To maintain and monitor the server infrastructure on a daily basis
  • Performing daily back-ups and data redundancy
  • Handle change requests and software updates
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues
  • Troubleshoot recurring software/application/host issues ranging from medium to high complexity
  • Repair, maintain and support PC's, Peripherals and CUPPS related hardware
  • Delegate tasks to sub-contractors (vendor), provide mentorship and ensure tasks are completed per Collins Aerospace standards.
  • Responsible for fulfilling targets outlined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) such as system operation including server and network.
  • He/she will require security clearance to work in any area of the airport where supported equipment is located.
  • Prepares system operational manuals and documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Application or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the desired knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Minimum of three years of relevant IT experience
  • Experience with installation, maintenance, configuration and troubleshooting of Windows workstations on Windows Server environments
  • Effective communication in English (written, oral, and presentation skills)
  • Preferential skills and experience, Network skills (CCNA), higher knowledge for Windows OS/Windows Server OS
