Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-oriented Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative with a proven background in water treatment and an existing portfolio of clients. This role is ideal for a sales professional who understands technical products and services and thrives in solution-based selling environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage sales of water treatment consumables, chemicals, equipment, and related services to industrial and commercial clients.
- Maintain and grow your existing portfolio of clients, while prospecting and developing new business opportunities.
- Conduct site visits, assess client needs, and propose tailored technical solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and service proposals.
- Collaborate with the technical support and operations team to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance KPIs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in the water treatment sector.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical sales within the water treatment industry (chemicals, equipment, or services) for at least 1 year.
- Existing portfolio of clients in industrial, commercial, or municipal sectors is required.
- Strong technical understanding of water treatment processes and solutions is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, travel and drive to client sites as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
