About the role

Blueshift Energy Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As our Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial operations of our company. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the success of our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Accurately record and categorise financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts on a regular basis
  • Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Liaise with external accountants and auditors to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
  • Maintain a well-organised filing system for all financial documentation
  • Support the Accounting team in special projects and other tasks as needed

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Bookkeeping or Accounting role, preferably in a small to medium-sized business
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), and financial best practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
