About the role

JAC Liner, Inc.' is seeking a talented Bookkeeper to join our finance team in our Quezon City, Metro Manila office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial operations of the company.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including processing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining general ledger, and preparing financial statements
  • Reconcile bank statements and other accounts on a regular basis
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and other ad-hoc financial analysis
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal control policies
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 0 - 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a small business or service-based environment
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with local accounting and tax regulations
