Company Description

The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) is the implementing arm of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council in the Philippines. Our primary mission is to administer a comprehensive national civil defense and disaster risk reduction and management program by providing leadership in the continuous development of strategic and systematic approaches, as well as measures to reduce the vulnerabilities and risks to hazards and manage the consequences of disasters.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban and Regional Planning, Public Administration, or related field.

Competencies:

Monitoring and Evaluation, Data Analysis and Interpretation, Technical Report Writing, Knowledgeable in Hazard and Risk Assessment is an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct Needs Assessment, Disaster Risk Assessment and Implementation Readiness Assessment of evacuation center in all LGU's nationwide;
  2. Assist in the project and readiness of LGUs;
  3. Assist in establishment of online and offline platforms for monitoring and evaluation (LPC priority list, evacuation center project implementation and existing retrofitting of existing evacuation center);
  4. Perform other functions as may be directed.
