I. Basic FUNCTIONS:

§ Responsible for overseeing the entire Flour sales operations, including commercial strategy, financial management, customer relationship management, operational oversight, and managing the distribution network. The role also involves leading strategic pricing management, trade marketing, and promotions.

§ Ensures that all business activities are aligned with the company's strategic goals, with a focus on driving profitability, market growth, and customer satisfaction.

§ Responsible for ensuring awareness, complying with, and enforcing the GMC Food Safety and Quality Policy.

§ Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health policy, report any unsafe act/conditions in the workplace and ensures safety practices is adhered.

II. Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Sales Strategy & Planning

o Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with company goals.

o Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.

o Set annual and quarterly sales targets and ensure achievement.

  1. Leadership & Team Management

o Lead, mentor, and motivate regional sales managers and their teams.

o Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to drive results.

o Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

  1. Business Development

o Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners.

o Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with major clients.

o Explore new markets and expand customer base nationwide.

  1. Sales Operations & Performance Monitoring

o Monitor sales performance by region and product line; prepare accurate reports and forecasts.

o Oversee and ensure effective execution of customer relationship management practices, including pipeline management and customer follow-up.

o Recommend improvements in sales processes and policies for efficiency.

  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration

o Coordinate with Marketing for promotional campaigns and product launches.

o Ensure effective coordination with Supply Chain and Operations to maintain product availability and timely delivery.

o Coordinate with Sales and Planning for accurate forecasting and demand planning.

o Coordinate with Research and Development for product improvement and innovations meet market needs.

o Collaborate with Finance for pricing strategies and credit management.

V. Job SPECIFICATIONS:

A. Minimum Educational Qualification

§ Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

§ Master's degree is a plus, not required

B. Experience

§ Minimum 7–10 years of sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a Managerial/National Sales role.

§ Strong track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.

§ Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

§ Proficient in sales reporting tools, CRM systems or execution, and MS Office applications.

§ Willing to travel nationwide as required.
