Direct Sales Events Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and manage the logistical requirements of all Direct Sales clients for Book Fairs, Book Selections to store branches, and the Library Congress event;
  • Arrange event spaces, ensuring accessibility and ambiance;
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, and supplier relationships;
  • Create promotional items including posters, brochures, infographics, email newsletters, and video advertisements;
  • Foster positive relationships with customers, attendees, authors and sponsors;
  • Establish strong connections with target customers;
  • Manage event budgets, track expenses and ensure profitability;
  • Create budget proposals for all target events;
  • Collaborate with DS Admin for the budget requests

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree in Management, Marketing or any related field;
  • With at least 1 year of work experience in event planning, marketing or bookstore experience;
  • Experience in manning booth and selling books (preferred);
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments;
  • Must be confident in communicating and establishing good rapport
