Job Summary:

​​Manages the end-to-end flow of purchase requisitions and orders, ensuring alignment with category strategies and compliance with company policies. Handles daily procurement activities, including order placement and delivery, while coordinating with suppliers, requestors, and Business Units to address process concerns. Drives and supports process improvements to enhance efficiency and achieve business goals.​

Job Responsibilities:
 

  • Procures indirect materials to meet requestor's requirements at an optimal cost and schedules supplier deliveries based on requirements
  • Create and manage purchase orders within the Oracle ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Creates purchase requisitions and assists requesters with the creation or completion of requisitions as required
  • Ensure all documentation exists and supports each Purchase Requisition
  • Convert Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders following the required turnaround time
  • Does significant follow-ups with requestors and approvers on purchase requisitions and purchase orders for approvals 
  • Assist Requesters with creating receipt against the appropriate purchase orders/purchase order lines
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding order placement, status updates, and resolution issues
  • Generate Monthly KPI Metrics and Weekly Report Summary  
  • Contributes major project/process improvements that will provide high impact to business unit objectives and goals
  • Provide support to the Purchasing Manager and contribute to achieving departmental KPIs
  • Resolve invoices assigned from own queue/list
  • Plans and collaborates on workload and projects with the team in cooperation with immediate superior
  • Performs business continuity (back-up) as required

Job Qualifications:

  • ​​​Bachelor's Degree in any 4-year course preferably Supply Chain/Accounting/Industrial Engineering/Business related discipline 
  • ​​​2 years Purchasing / Supply Chain / Procurement related experience 
  • ​Intermediate MS Excel knowledge is a must - ability to work with pivot tables, charts
  • ​Intermediate MS PowerPoint knowledge
  • ​Detail-oriented
  • ​Quality mindset
  • ​A team player with a positive attitude
  • ​Strong written and communication skills
  • ​Can work independently with minimal supervision
  • ​Must have good analytical skills
  • ​Ability to participate in a team environment
