Purchasing staff:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in business or purchasing management, three (3) years' buying experience. Knowledge of procurement and inventory terminology.

BROAD FUNCTION

  • Purchasing Clerks compile requests for materials, prepare purchase orders, keep track of purchases and supplies, and handle inquiries about orders. They gather information and records to draw up purchase orders for procurement of materials and services.
  • Sending PO to vendor and Suppliers
  • Inventory, Quality Checking and compiling records
  • Responsible on canvass computer products and peripherals
  • Send purchasing order to vendor and suppliers
  • To check and ensure the quality of the purchased items
  • Established records, keep safe list of suppliers and vendors for future reference
  • Responsible doing inventories and other related duty assigned

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research potential vendors
  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
  • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Review quality of purchased products
  • Enter order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends
