Social Media Officer Job Description
A creative, data-driven, and passionate Social Media Manager to join our team on affiliate status. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase our online presence, improve marketing efforts, and drive engagement across all social media platforms.
The Social Media Manager will act as the brand's voice, engaging with our online community, analyzing performance metrics, and staying ahead of the latest social media trends. This role requires a blend of excellent communication, strategic planning, and hands-on content creation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning:
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with overall business objectives.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and goals for each social media campaign.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, technologies, and platform changes.
- Content Management:
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, and written copy).
- Plan, schedule, and publish posts using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Develop and oversee social media campaigns, contests, and promotions.
- Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and design teams to ensure brand consistency and cohesive messaging.
- Community Engagement:
- Monitor, listen, and respond to the online community in a timely and authentic way.
- Cultivate and grow the brand's online community by fostering meaningful conversations.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and direct messages, and handle both positive and negative feedback with professionalism and tact.
- Build and maintain relationships with social media influencers and brand partners.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Measure and analyze the performance of all social media campaigns and content.
- Use social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Audience Insights) to track and report on key metrics such as engagement rates, reach, and conversions.
- Provide regular reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Brand Management:
- Maintain and uphold a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all social platforms.
- Manage and mitigate reputational risk by handling social media crises with a clear and strategic approach.
- Oversee the design and layout of all social media profiles.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Good video editing skills.\
- Articulate in written English.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies.
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Strong creative and strategic thinking skills.
- Exceptional writing, copywriting, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools.
- Experience with content creation, including graphic design and video editing, is a MUST.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision but delivers excellent work.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: From Php500.00 per day
Expected hours: 1 – 8 per week
