Job Summary:
The Liaison Assistant supports the coordination and processing of permits, licenses, and other legal documents with various government agencies and external organizations. This role ensures compliance with government regulations and timely processing of documents critical to retail operations, including store openings and expansions,
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, submission, and follow-up of permits and licenses required for store openings, renovations, and operations (e.g., business permits, BIR registration).
- Coordinate with government agencies like the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), and local government units (LGUs) for the timely renewal of business documents.
- Facilitate compliance with the requirements such as securing permits.
- Work closely with store operations to ensure timely document processing and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure that all business-related documents are accurately filed, updated, and easily accessible.
- Maintain a detailed log of all permits and licenses, including expiration dates, renewal schedules, and necessary fees.
- Assist in preparing reports related to document processing and compliance status for internal management review.
- Facilitate payments for fees related to government transactions such as tax payments, business permit renewals, and other required contributions.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations to avoid penalties or delays in operations.
Qualifications:
- At least finished second year college
- At least 6 months of experience in a liaison role
- Familiarity with the processes and requirements of Philippine government agencies(e.g., BIR, SEC, LGUs) is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
