Role Description
The clerk for the Philhealth Yakap Program is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to ensure efficient processing of Philhealth benefits. The clerk assist patients and their families in completing Philhealth forms, manages documentation, maintains accurate records, and coordinate with hospital staff and Philhealth representatives to facilitate timely claims processing. The role focuses on accurate records, organized and patient-centered service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist patients and their families in filling out Philhealth Yakap forms and requirements.
·Receive, organize, and file all necessary documents related to Philhealth Yakap claims.
·Encode patient information and Philhealth details into Philhealth system.
·Ensure timely submission of Philhealth Yakap documents to avoid delays in claims processing.
·Answer patient inquiries regarding Philhealth Yakap requirements and coverage.
·Maintains confidentiality and proper handling of patient records in compliance with hospital and Philhealth standards.
·Prepare reports and updates on Philhealth Yakap cases and claims as required by the management.
Qualifications
· Graduate in any 2-year or 4-year business/office administration course, or equivalent work experience.
·Preferably with experience in clerical, administrative, or record management work.
·Knowledge of Philhealth processes is an advantage.
·Proficient in computer applications (MS office, hospital systems and encoding).
·Detail oriented, organized, and with good communication skills.

·Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
·Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
·Knowledge of Philhealth policies and hospital procedures.
