General Accounting Staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record, monitor, and maintain accurate accounting transactions in compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare journal entries, vouchers, and supporting schedules.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Handle bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
  • Support payroll preparation and government contributions/filings as required.
  • Assist in audits, both internal and external, by providing necessary documentation.
  • Maintain organized filing of accounting records and documents.
  • Perform other related tasks assigned by the Finance/Accounting Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles, government reporting, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of accounting software is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have laptop or desktop and stable internet connection at home
