Contracts Manager

M Moser Associates is looking for an experienced and accomplished Contracts Manager for its interior fit-out design-build projects.

Job Overview

You will work in a multidisciplinary team of architects, designers, engineers, and construction professionals to provide clients with professional design and construction services. You will collaborate with M Moser's Manila and Global teams to deliver design-build projects to our global and regional clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, developing and supervising all project cost and commercial functions, ensuring that all project reporting, cash flow, budgets and forecasts comply with the client's requirements.
• Production and pricing of Bills of Quantities using CostX, for the purposes of RFP submissions.
• Managing the procurement and commercial management of all pre and post-contract stages of the project, which will be awarded to local and international vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Supporting the process of resolving payment issues for vendors and third-party suppliers.
• Supporting the development of payment review, controls and sign-off procedures for all financial management activities within the business unit.
• Coordinating commercial resources as required across the business unit.
• Reviewing cost plans/budgets to ensure they are recorded accurately and timely.
• Advise on cash-flow forecasts and strategies for improvement.
• Supporting the contract accounting department with raising purchase orders and reviewing vendor payments and revenue invoices.
• Preparation and presentation of commercial reports to the business unit leaders.
• Provide training and commercial insight to project team members.

Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Excellent technical grounding in all aspects of quantity surveying and cost management
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experienced in advising clients on value management, value engineering and life cycle costing
• Strong negotiation and influencing qualities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Filipino languages
• Ability to work on multiple projects. Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and work effectively with local team members as well as global team members
• Self-starter, action oriented, driven towards goals with strong design to fulfill commitments

Qualifications

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
• Other qualifications will be considered depending on the experience of the applicant
