Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accuracy and timeliness of Bill of Quantity (BOQ), Gross Material Quantity (GMQ) for the preparation of sound Cost Estimates for the project to support business objectives
- Ensure cost-effectiveness through improvements or value engineering initiatives so that the project remains within budget
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of bid documents for a timely awarding of the project to qualified and reliable contractors
- Timeliness in project monitoring to capture any potential design changes and their impact on the project cost throughout the different project stages (Cost Planning, Tendering, Construction and Post Construction phase)
- Proficiency in the validation of project status to ensure correct payments are made based on actual completion
- Effectiveness of collaboration with designers, consultants, or contractors during design changes to ensure all material and cost requirements are met and the project remains within budget
- Ensure compliance of design and estimates with applicable regulations
- Proficiency in leading, supervising, and organizing the Quantity Survey department through timely preparation of material and cost estimates
- Alignment of estimates with Quantity Survey (QS) best practices through regular review of material and other cost components with standards considering latest cost and specifications
- Proficient in the delivery of QS solutions and cost control through value engineering based on the latest trends and applications without sacrificing quality and cost
- Timely review of Variation Order to manage the impact on project cost of any change in material quantity or specifications vs. agreed project details
- Ensure personal growth and competency enhancement by aligning individual objectives with the organization's goals
13.And all other duties and responsibilities which are not limited to these that may be assigned to you by the management.
Qualifications
- College graduate in BS Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- With at least 3-5 years of experience as Quantity Surveyor
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php32, Php37,000.00 per month
