KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the Finance Manager, you will:
- Reconcile Bank Accounts (daily) - ensure accurate and timely completion of Trust's Bank Account reconciliations
- Reconcile and maintain the Group of Companies data in its accounting system - currently MYOB
- Commission processing, enquiries, recording and payments
- Assist with the management accounts specifically profit and loss and balance sheet including amortization and depreciation records for designated accounts
- Conduct general data entry and administration
- Assist Treasury team with month-end reporting
- Assist with audit activities as required
- Other duties as assigned by Management
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Amenable to a 12-month contract.
- Graduate of accounting, finance and business administration or closely related field
- Must have an accounting background and experience with a non-bank lender
- Experience in the financial services with exposure in loan-related process
- Experience with Mortgage Industry is a plus
- Presents a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill/ knowledge relevant to the role, whilst keeping up with current developments and trends in area of expertise
- Sound knowledge and understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Knowledge in electronic reconciliation, specifically bank reconciliation
- Solid planning and organizing skills to establish a process and allocates appropriate resources to achieve goals
