Senior Business Analyst

About the Role:

The Senior Business Analyst role involves conducting stakeholder interviews, gathering and documenting user requirements, and translating them into detailed functional and system specifications. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential to support informed technical decision-making. Working closely with the Team Lead, the analyst will help identify and evaluate solutions to improve business processes and maximize value. Additionally, the Senior Business Analyst will support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with training and rollout activities to ensure successful solution adoption and realization of business benefits.

Scope of Work/Responsibilities

The key responsibilities and deliverables of the Business Analyst during the engagement include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Strategy, Planning, and Client Management

2. Facilitate meetings and collaborate with product managers to determine product scope, vision, and roadmap.

3. Develop user stories, epics, releases as well as their characteristics.
4. Elicit user requirements through various methods such as interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, and scenarios
5. Communicate, confirm, present requirements/application change requests to product team for work estimation/sizing.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders and product team to prioritize and manage backlog.

7. Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.

8. Product Design and Development

9. Define product features according to business needs. Take charge of user requirement analysis for product design by co-working with the technical team.

10. Manage and prioritize product backlog items. Optimize pipeline release plan based on the delivery to ensure maximum client requirements are met.
11. Support the product development team in meeting the objectives of each sprint/release cycle.
12. Stay informed on the latest platform capabilities, particularly for SaaS applications, and ensure team and stakeholder alignment with new features.
13. Conduct learning sessions with stakeholders to keep them informed of new solutions, enhancements, and system capabilities.

14. Facilitate UAT sessions and assist the team to develop overall UAT plan and scenarios

15. Production Support:

16. Participate in post-implementation support activities alongside the technical team.

17. Keep clients and stakeholders informed on product status, including progress updates, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and resource needs.

18. Contribute to the creation of training materials for end users and support teams.

19. Operational Management

20. Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.

21. Translate user needs into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to product team.
22. Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to guide development efforts.
23. Develop and conduct peer reviews of business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.
24. Assist with the interpretation of user requirements into feasible options and communicate these back to the business stakeholders.
25. Manage and track requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
26. Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements – verbally or through written documentation – to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
27. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed to support successful solution deployment.

Requirement and Qualification

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Accounting or similar field
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in business analysis, two (2) of which should be working directly with senior stakeholders
• Experience Proven experience in facilitating training sessions and conducting workshops with diverse stakeholder groups

Technical Knowledge

• Excellent business process knowledge of Procure-to-Pay cycle
• Experience working on Oracle ERP Financials (e.g., GL, SLA, Fixed Assets)
• Experience in customization and integration of Oracle ERP with cloud-based systems
• Experience in Business Intelligence reporting technologies
• Knowledge in Coupa (advantage)
• Accounting background (advantage)
• Experience in Agile teams
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
• Conversant with systems development lifecycle principles

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Able to relate to large information-based organizations and senior executives from diverse cultures

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Php100, Php165,000.00 per month
