The Engineering Manager oversees all engineering and technical operations of the company. This includes project design, planning, resource allocation, and supervision of engineering teams to ensure the safe, timely, and cost-effective completion of projects. The role ensures compliance with applicable standards, codes, and client requirements while driving innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, plan, and manage all engineering activities across projects and operations.
  • Supervise and mentor engineers, draftsmen, and technical staff.
  • Review and approve design plans, technical drawings, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards (e.g., ISO 14001), and quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and engineering deliverables.
  • Conduct technical reviews and feasibility studies for proposed projects.
  • Provide engineering support and troubleshooting during construction or manufacturing phases.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance and reliability improvement of equipment and facilities (if applicable).
  • Prepare reports, technical documentation, and presentations for management and clients.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement engineering best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PRC Registered Engineer) preferred.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong project management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, or other engineering and project management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA, ASME, NEC, etc.).
