Job Summary:

The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing the engineering aspects of the project, ensuring that all technical requirements are met efficiently. They work closely with project managers to establish project timelines and budgets while coordinating with other project participants and providing technical guidance. Ensuring compliance with safety standards is a key aspect of the role, along with managing the procurement of materials and services. The Project Engineer also oversees testing, commissioning, and inspection of project elements, prepares and presents progress reports to stakeholders, and identifies and mitigates project risks. Additionally, they are responsible for reviewing and administering contracts and actively participating in project close-out activities, including the preparation of maintenance manuals and training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare work schedules based on the General Contractor's schedule.
  • Implement Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements and maintain Zero Lost Time Accidents (LTA).
  • Manage project requirements, including budgeting, transportation, and accommodation.
  • Attend and actively participate in project site coordination meetings.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential installation conflicts and recommend resolutions.
  • Ensure all site-generated reports are submitted to the Project Operations Lead or Department Head.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with client engineers.
  • Address and resolve project site concerns by collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate alignment meetings with interfacing departments to address potential and recurring issues.
  • Implement cost-control measures to ensure expenditures remain within the approved budget.
  • Adhere to established Quality Management Systems (QMS), Quality Policy, goals, targets, and objectives.
  • Participate in relevant activities such as training, internal audits, committee appointments, and programs (e.g., 5S Good Housekeeping, document and records control, waste segregation, EHS-related initiatives, and energy/water conservation efforts).

Requirements:

  • Education: Any Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in engineering or project management.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of engineering standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
