About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled AutoCAD Operator to join our dynamic team at Grand Apex Constructions Inc. in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As an AutoCAD Operator - MEPFS, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPFS) systems for our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Producing detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for MEPFS systems
  • Interpreting project requirements and design specifications to create accurate and comprehensive technical drawings
  • Collaborating with engineering and construction teams to ensure design plans meet project objectives and comply with relevant building codes and regulations
  • Updating and maintaining drawing files throughout the design and construction phases
  • Providing technical support and guidance to project stakeholders as needed
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve drafting processes and standards

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as an AutoCAD Operator or Technician, preferably within the construction or engineering industry
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, including 2D and 3D modelling, and knowledge of MEPFS drafting conventions
  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to MEPFS design
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is highly desirable
