Job Overview

The Quality Assurance & Product Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, stability, and overall quality of the LAHAT JOBS platform--web and mobile app. This role is primarily focused on software testing and quality assurance (70%) with complementary responsibilities in product support and improvement (30%). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying issues and opportunities to enhance the user experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Quality Assurance (70%)

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for new features, system updates, and bug fixes.
  • Design and perform detailed manual and automated test cases covering UI/UX, functionality, performance, and compatibility across devices and browsers.
  • Track and document defects using collaboration tools (e.g., Jira), ensuring clear communication of issues with the development team.
  • Conduct regression testing to validate bug fixes and prevent reintroduction of issues.
  • Ensure overall service stability and product reliability prior to release.

Product Support & Improvement (30%)

  • Provide second-level technical support, analyzing and resolving escalated issues from the customer support team.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing Teams to propose new features and product improvements based on user feedback/survey, market trends, and QA findings.
  • Participate in product app requirement analysis and planning sessions, giving input from a QA perspective;
  • Assist in preparing release notes, documentation, and internal guides for new features and deployments.
  • Other tasks may be assigned from time to time by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study and/or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing;
  • Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or similar;
  • Solid understanding of the entire QA process from planning, execution to reporting;
  • Familiarity with bug tracking systems Jira, Trello, or equivalent;
  • Strong understanding of web and mobile app testing methodologies;
  • Knowledge of basic SQL for database verification is a plus;
  • Exposure to API testing and basic automation frameworks;
