Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join our digital lending team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards in service delivery, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role involves monitoring, evaluating, and improving processes related to loan applications, customer interactions, risk management, and fraud prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Monitoring & Compliance:
- Ensure all digital lending operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and risk management protocols.
- Conduct audits and reviews of loan applications, underwriting decisions, and customer service interactions.
Quality Assurance & Performance Evaluation:
- Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks for assessing the efficiency and accuracy of lending processes.
- Monitor calls, chats, and emails to ensure compliance with service standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify areas of improvement and provide feedback to teams to enhance overall performance.
Risk & Fraud Prevention:
- Work closely with the fraud prevention and risk teams to identify potential red flags in loan applications and transactions.
- Ensure robust controls are in place to minimize fraud risks and financial losses.
Training & Continuous Improvement:
- Provide recommendations and training to customer service, underwriting, and fraud prevention teams to enhance compliance and quality assurance.
- Develop quality improvement initiatives and assist in implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare detailed reports on quality assessment findings, operational gaps, and improvement recommendations.
- Maintain comprehensive records of QA evaluations, training sessions, and compliance activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, risk management, or compliance within a digital lending, fintech, or financial services company.
- Strong knowledge of digital lending processes, regulatory requirements, and fraud detection techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with data analytics tools to generate insights for process improvements.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying risks and inefficiencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with quality assurance frameworks in financial services.
- Knowledge of automated lending platforms and AI-driven risk assessment tools.
- Certifications in Quality Assurance, Compliance, or Risk Management are a plus.
Work Environment:
- Currently, this position is remote; however, once our office is set up, we will transition to full onsite work.
