About the Role

We're looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Docker and hands-on experience working with PHP frameworks (preferably Laravel, but CodeIgniter is ok You'll collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and system administrators to automate, optimize, and maintain scalable infrastructure for our web applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support CI/CD pipeline development, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker for consistent and efficient delivery.
  • Assist in managing and monitoring cloud or on-premise infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with software developers to ensure seamless integration between development and operations.
  • Implement and maintain automation scripts to improve deployment efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and environment issues.
  • Ensure system reliability through monitoring, alerting, and logging tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong      hands-on experience with Docker (container creation, management, and deployment).
  • Familiarity with PHP frameworks      (preferably Laravel)     .
  • Experienced in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
  • Advanced Git usage and branching strategies (Git Flow, trunk-based development).
  • Understanding of Nginx/Apache, MySQL, and Redis.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Experience with testing frameworks and code quality tools.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn DevOps tools and practices.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC).

A plus

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, Nomad).
