About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting Financial Market applications through incident management, system monitoring, and continuous improvement. You'll be responsible for ensuring system reliability and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues efficiently.

This role also involves hands-on design, development, and testing using SSIS, SQL Server, C#, and Control-M, while leveraging AI capabilities to improve DevOps efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line support for financial market applications using ITSM frameworks and tools.
  • Monitor production systems, manage alerts, and resolve incidents promptly.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
  • Develop and test solutions using SSIS, SQL Server, and C#.
  • Optimize application performance and automate processes where possible.
  • Collaborate with global teams (Sydney and AMEA) to align with operational standards and time zones.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3–5 years of experience in ITSM, DevOps, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in ITSM tools (e.g., Helix) and ITIL processes.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure, IaC, and Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark, Presto, Airflow).
  • Skilled in shell scripting, SQL, and Linux commands.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to documentation and process adherence.

Nice to Have:

  • At least 2 years of troubleshooting experience.
  • Hands-on experience in AWS, ITSM, and shell scripting.

Work Schedule

During Onboarding:

  • Weeks 1–2: 8 PM – 5 AM | Fully WFH | 10% night differential
  • Weeks 3–4: 12 AM – 9 AM | Fully WFH | 10% night differential
  • Weeks 5–6: 8 AM – 5 PM | Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

Notes:

  • Supports teams based in Sydney and AMEA.
  • PH holidays are not observed, but employees may file leave.
  • Work on PH holidays = double pay.
  • Escalation procedures and team support are in place during shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php60, Php80,000.00 per month
