Role Overview

We are hiring a
Trade Policy Intelligence Consultant
to support cross-regional projects in trade governance, supply chain strategy, and logistics policy. The role blends analytical research, data interpretation, and strategic writing to inform trade corridor planning, infrastructure development, and regional integration agendas.

Ideal for professionals with experience in international trade policy, logistics reform, or public-sector modernization, this position emphasizes translating complex information into decision-ready insights and contributing to technical reports, stakeholder workshops, and donor-aligned policy outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured research and landscape assessments on trade infrastructure, customs modernization, and corridor performance
  • Draft policy briefs, strategy notes, and benchmarking diagnostics for development partners and institutional clients
  • Analyze trade indicators and infrastructure data to identify performance gaps and reform priorities
  • Support the development of multilateral engagement materials, such as stakeholder maps, issue overviews, and roundtable content
  • Track regional trade agreements, regulatory frameworks, and logistics trends across Asia and emerging economies
  • Collaborate with project teams on knowledge products, scenario analysis, and foresight deliverables

Qualifications

  • Degree in Public Policy, Trade Economics, Logistics, Political Science, or related fields
  • 3–6 years of experience in policy research, strategic consulting, or trade-related development programs
  • Familiarity with ASEAN trade frameworks, port reform efforts, or donor-funded initiatives is an asset
  • Strong writing and synthesis skills with experience producing briefs, diagnostics, or technical reports
  • Fluent in English; Tagalog or other regional languages are a plus for local insight
