A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLEResponsibilities of the Digital Marketing Coordinator will include, but are not limited to:
Online Merchandising
- Manage and optimize product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, images, pricing, and categorization.
- Enhance product visibility through SEO-driven titles, keywords, and metadata.
- Work closely with designers and content teams to ensure visually appealing and engaging product pages.
- Conduct A/B testing on product pages, descriptions, and layouts to improve conversions.
- Develop and implement digital merchandising strategies that drive sales and customer engagement.
- Create and maintain category structures, filters, and navigation for an intuitive user experience.
- Plan and execute promotional strategies, including homepage banners, landing pages, and seasonal campaigns.
- Optimize cross-selling and upselling opportunities through recommendations and bundling strategies.
- Plan, deliver and execute all product and image information so that our PIM can stay up to date and used widely. Be one of the key managers of the PIM system.
- Reporting as required across conversion rates, bounce rates, product page views, checkout funnel and more. Using a mixture of Google Analytics, Amazon Analytics, heatmaps, CRO tools like Hotjar and more.
- Run CRO enhancements to drive conversion rate improvements on websites.
- Ad tasks as required.
Email & SMS Marketing
- Plan and execute email and SMS programs to drive traffic, conversion and sales for our websites.
- Brief, plan and execute promotional requirements to support digital advertising programs.
- Build out automations and personalisation programs across email and SMS to achieve traffic and sales targets
- Monitor and optimise ad performance across ad platforms to drive agreed ROAS.
- Ensure customer data and first party data points are gathered and built to drive ongoing digital marketing effectiveness.
- Support new product and brand launches with digital advertising programs.
- Maintain effective processes and documentation to deliver digital marketing programs effectively and efficiently. Clearly document and communicate these processes.
- Deliver to agreed budgets for digital advertising each month.
- Provide digital advertising reporting against key KPI's.
- Ad Hoc & Troubleshooting support as required.
Experience.
- Digital Advertising experience
- Digital merchandising experience
- Digital Marketing operations
- New product launch experience
- eCommerce and marketplace operations.
- Experience with project management. Specifically agile and scrum standards.
- Strong knowledge of web standards
- Experience within an eCommerce field.
- Effective budget management and proven return on investment.
- Ability to communicate cross functionally
- Ability to gather, analyse, interpret and data to assist in decision making.
- Identifying and delivering meaningful reporting and insights.
Technical skills
- eCommerce systems e.g. Magento and Shopify.
- eMail marketing systems e.g. Klaviyo or Mailchimp.
- Affiliate Marketing systems e.g. Commission Factory or Rakuten.
- Conversion Rate Optimisation tools e.g. Hot Jar.
Success in this role will be defined by the following:
- eCommerce & marketplace sales achieved against KPI's.
- Website performance delivers against KPI's eg traffic, conversion, bounce etc.
- Advertising budget achieved
- ROAS targets achieved.
- Work flow processes clearly documented and utilised cross functionally.
Success in this role will be defined by the following:
- Content created for design collateral delivers on brief requirements.
- Content created is in line with brand and tone of voice guidelines.
- Content created is within agreed timeframes and budgets, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
