A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE

Responsibilities of the Test Automation Engineer will include but are not limited to:

·       Analyse user stories and requirements for validity and feasibility

·       Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and business analysts

·       Design and execute functional, regression, and user acceptance testing

·       Design and develop automated test scripts where applicable

·       Conduct pre- and post-release testing activities

·       Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies

·       Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product life cycle

·       Ensure that defects are clearly documented, communicated, and retested

·       Provide support, documentation, and knowledge sharing for QA processes

A BIT ABOUT YOU

Experience

· years in software testing or software development

·       Strong understanding of testing methodologies and QA best practices

·       Experience with test automation and scripting

·       Working knowledge of Agile and iterative development processes

Technical Skills & Qualifications

·       Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (appreciated but not mandatory)

·       Certifications in Information Systems and/or Testing methodologies would be highly regarded

·       Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)

·       Familiarity with Selenium, Postman, GitLab, Docker, and cloud-based testing

·       Experience with distributed systems and cloud architecture is advantageous
