JOB SUMMARY:

Engineering Specialist with expertise in facilities and equipment maintenance, safety audits, and asset management. Skilled in troubleshooting, project planning, and leading maintenance programs to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the proper maintenance of all facilities and equipment in the store including troubleshooting & repair activities.
  • Supervision of all maintenance work (AC Equipment, Electrical, Water Facilities, CCTV, Burglar System, Generators, Pest Control and other store facilities.
  • Store Inspection / Safety Audit and provide summarize technical report on findings/store improvement.
  • Ensuring operational safety, timely and cost-effective performance.
  • Ensuring proper maintenance of all store facility equipment's(generator, escalator, elevator, etc.) / equipment (A/C unit) in the store including troubleshooting & repair activities.
  • Initiates, Implements and monitors maintenance program for the business unit.
  • Prepares in-house estimates, scope of works and technical evaluation reports for repair and maintenance related concerns for the business unit.
  • Check and Technical Evaluation Quotations from suppliers.
  • Leading and guiding the Store Operations Group in solving equipment problems in a timely manner. Conduct Safety/Technical/Equipment Orientation.
  • SAP Technical equipment master custodian, and technical asset management.
  • Ensures that all store equipments (except I.T. related) are enrolled and uploaded in the SAP Plant Maintenance.
  • Evaluation of existing equipment condition and provide recommendation for improvement.
  • Preparation of MEPF design and scope for the recommended improvement/process, and project management.
  • Checking and Partial approval of Maintenance Order created by Store Operations.
  • Review store equipment usage for improvements and opportunity to minimize downtime and increase equipment efficiency.
  • Preparation of requirement(electrical) for store exhibit and coordination with mall engineering and provides assistance on the ingress/egress
  • Dispatch and Monitor weekly schedule of roving technician.
  • Supervises engineering specialists on the tasks assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, License is an advantage but not required
  • Preferably with one to two years of experience working as an Mechanical/Electrical field, must have experience in building, facilities and asset management
  • With retail experience is an advantage but not required
  • Ability to work with cross-divisional teams
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Quezon City and do fieldwork as necessary
  • Computer literate and knowledgeable in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project/Office and SAP application is an advantage
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
